Join us for an evening of inspiration. Come hear from young Changemakers which Ashoka’s Youth Venture Seattle has supported in leading their own social ventures. You will hear directly from young people who are gaining invaluable experience leading teams of peers in creating non-profits, businesses and school clubs – all fulfilling an identified social need.
In addition to meeting the next generation of social entrepreneurs, you will meet adult entrepreneurs, business owners and community leaders.
Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 5:30pm with dinner starting promptly at 6:00pm.

We hope you will be able to join us and meet young people like Tiffany, Founder of "The Beat". The Beat is a weekly teen section in the newspaper that is written, photographed, and illustrated by youth, for youth. The mission of The Beat is to promote literacy and careers in journalism, photography, and art while educating and cultivating a generation of youth newspaper readers.

Youth Venture Seattle
Ashoka’s Youth Venture is building a movement of young changemakers who will redefine the role of young people in society as powerful leaders of social change. Youth Venture inspires and invests in teams of young people (ages 12-20) to create and launch their own sustainable, community-benefiting Ventures. Youth Venture provides guidance, coaching and up to $1,000 in seed funding to help young people turn their ideas for social change into reality.
Youth Venture Seattle was established in late 2007 and has since supported more than 40 youth-led teams involving more than 450 young people from 35 schools.
